Creative Hang-Out in the #AV for March!

Hey guys, the Creative Hang-Out is back from a brief hiatus (due to recurring colds & a family move)!

It'll be Thursday March 8 @ 6pm (oops, FB Group got more notice this time!), at Kathy's Kafe again, just off of the BLVD in Lancaster, so......

Come hang out! BYO sketchbook, notebook, device or whatever if you wanna draw, write, or doodle as well!

*(Buying something at the coffee shop is encouraged, as it shows our thanks for letting us meet there after normal hours)

Sorry to hear that Joe Simon has passed away yesterday...

The Co-Creator of Captain America, among others, he was a great creative who managed to leave a lasting impression on the industry (despite Martin Goodman's trickery on he & Kirby during the early Captain America disputes).

1st Conspire! AV Meet-up & the 2nd One In December...

Looking forward to trying out some jam-comics & more creative fun at the next meetup! Thanks to everyone who showed up to the 1st Conspire AV hang-out.

Although the pizza at Nick's was amazing, for other reasons of conducive environment, etc., the next Conspire Comic-Creative night will be at Kathy's Kafe on Milling & Cedar in Lancaster, on December 22, 2011 at about 7pm.

Creative Hang-Out For November 2011...

Hey guys, looks like I neglected to notice that the last Thursday of the month is actually Thanksgiving (being November)...

ha ha!

so anyways, it looks like the Tuesday before Thanksgiving will be a fair substitute at this point.

It'll be at Nick's Cafe & Pizzeria in Lancaster, unless there's a sensible violent out-cry... (come on, they got wifi!)

Nailing Down an Initial Day / Time / Place

This seems to be one of the challenges in having a drawing night/writing night/idea/comics hang out. What are your thoughts on a good day of week for this? Also, once a month to start out?

Whadya think?

Any thoughts on places? I like Nick's Pizza, or even Carrows, but I'm not really married to those ideas.

Also, feel free to add people to this that you think might be interested, as you are also Admins.
